A while back I wrote on how to get some drivers for Windows Server 2008 in order to have a somewhat functional Windows Server 2008. I decided I could not longer live in Windows Server 2008 world without my dual monitor and decided to end this once and for all.
It turns out that Apple indeed HAS support for most of the drivers in Windows Server 2008, but it included it on later DVDs that are included when you buy a Mac.
I managed to find an updated Bootcamp installation, and this one had a “BootCamp64″ installer. I ran it, got no errors and rebooted the machine. Now I have the following:
- Native Bluetooth Support (ironically, now my BT mouse does NOT work)
- Audio Support
- Keyboard Support
Sigh…no graphic card driver yet….let’s see if the Boot Camp Update 2.1 for Windows Vista 64 fixes it. Nope it does not…I have downloaded modified INF Nvidia 8600 GT drivers and nothing. I am starting to believe that this is simple not possible at the time being

Thanks Topaz!!! Sometimes I write these things as I am going, so it may not make the most sense but I’d be happy to clear out anything I could have not explained very well. Cheers!
